As Head of Growth, you will drive user acquisition and reactivation through (i) owned social media channels, (ii) content creator programs, (iii) competitive tournaments or esports, (iv) brand partnerships, and more. You’ll have the support of top-tier Social and Community squads, a high velocity product development team, and a hyper engaged player base.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive Acquisition and Reactivation: Develop and implement strategies to attract new players and re-engage existing ones, enhancing overall user growth.
  • Lead Social Media Channels: Oversee and manage Gym Class's owned social media platforms, driving cross-platform impressions through content that resonates with our community and reaches beyond it.
  • Content Creator Program: Expand the impact of our community Content Creator, supporting existing creators, attracting new creators, and testing brand partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Competitive Community & Content: Amplify the impact and scale of our community competitions, especially as it relates to content creation.
  • Cross-Team Leadership: Establish a hypothesis-driven process and operational excellence for your squads across content and community.
  • Analyze Performance Metrics: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of growth strategies using data analytics, adjusting approaches as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Growth Impact: 5+ years in growth marketing, or a related field within gaming or consumer technology, with a track record of driving user acquisition and engagement.
  • Hypothesis-Driven Approach: Rapid execution using scientific method. Gather insights, form hypotheses, and iteratively run new experiments.
  • Bias for Action: You take charge and lead initiatives, leveraging your team to enhance execution. You are proactive and do not wait for others to take action on your behalf.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics tools to assess performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Content Creator Experience: In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and success metrics. Experience in developing and managing content creator programs, providing support and resources to amplify their reach and attract new creators.
  • Competitive Experience: Knowledge of the esports landscape, with experience in initiating and managing esports events and tournaments that foster competitive environments and content generation.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and a passion for gaming, particularly within social sports games.
